Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8:30 amβ4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Utica is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was an established prenatal patient with this office during my pregnancy. While I did miss several appointments and ultimately delivered my baby at home, they had already completed my disability paperwork for the standard leave period. When a simple correction later needed to be made, I was shocked by how unwilling they were to help. Instead of showing any compassion or professionalism during an already vulnerable postpartum time, Marie was dismissive and refused to assist with fixing the paperwork. This was not a request for anything extraβjust a correction to paperwork they had already signed. The representative handling my disability claim even contacted the office directly, hoping to resolve it, and afterward told me they were extremely rude and unwilling to help him as well. It is disappointing that a prenatal office, where patients place trust in providers during pregnancy and postpartum recovery, would treat someone this way over a basic administrative matter. Support should not end the moment a baby is born. Patients deserve respect, especially during such a stressful and sensitive time. I was also under the care of Nurse Practitioner Elmedina and expected a much highe

Iβve had nothing but a good experience here for both my pregnancies. The front staff are very busy but they are very nice. Just have patience and be kind to them. All the nurses iβve seen are great. Shelley Hong the Midwife I saw was wonderful. I would recommend MVHS Womenβs Clinic.

I really cannot say enough good about this office. I'm 6 months pregnant, and they've made my life so much easier during pregnancy. I've had a couple scares, and they were right here to help me. They also have a 24 hour on call doctor which is a huge deal especially if youre pregnant or have serious medical issues. The amount of hands on deck that are there to step in IMMEDIATLY and help you if there's any type of scare is incredible. Do yourself a favor, choose mvhsβ€οΈ

I do not recommend this place for menopause care. Dr Rashid was completely uneducated about perimenopause, had "never heard of" my very common symptoms, and did not address my most urgent concerns or provide any sort of treatment plan despite my repeating and rephrasing my questions over and over. She didn't seem to have reviewed any of the medical history that I'd spent half an hour providing to her nurse, and was not up-to-date on diagnostic and treatment information that is readily available online. She demonstrated zero sympathy for my discomfort or fear. I requested a different clinician for my follow-up, and while the NP was more understanding and kind, she had to leave the room to "ask [her] coworkers" when I had questions about hormone therapy. When I asked "Would treatment X be a good substitute for treatment Y?" she said "Probably?" which did not exactly inspire confidence. Really just an unacceptable level of incompetence here, especially as these are women providers. Things went smoothly with the radiologist and phlebotomist, but if you're looking to have a comprehensive conversation with an educated clinician, it's not going to happen here. The building is also

Front desk rude. Had to contact quality control in July. ... Now they lost blood work and I have to get it again. This isn't even the half of it. They say they call (put it in MyChart) when they don't. A lot of inaccuracy and frustration. We need better maternal CARE in the area! Edit: post delivery of baby ... I switched OBs. I had my records sent to new doc. Despite this, they have called and scheduled me for surgery 2x since switching doctors. How are they not communicating inside their office?!

I can not believe how un reliable and un professional this place has been. I have been told wrong information, that other doctors ask me who possibly told you that? I have a different mid wife every time. I have had to wait weeks for prescriptions they so call "called in." They change my due date every time I go in.... they have kept me on hold multiple times for 45 minutes and then hang up; had multiple problems even with just scheduling an appointment. I am not impressed at all. That's my honest review, sorry.

I chose to make this rating because I had anxiety over choosing the right OBGYN for the duration of my pregnancy & reading their reviews left me unsettled. I still went to the office because I was quite literally running out of time to choose an OB. Iβm so glad I did, I had an amazing 1st experience. I communicated the majority of my appointment with Ronica who is a midwife at this location. She was knowledgeable, listened to me & got me caught up for the time I missed! I would have loved to see more good reviews when I booked my appointment & maybe I wouldnβt have been so anxious! So here I am leaving it for the next patient to benefit from ! The women at the front were incredibly helpful , they helped me with billing due to my insurance not being active & they are so warm & nice! The office waiting room was pretty empty besides 3 other women & we all got called in within 20 minutes. When the appointment was over nobody was waiting to be seen anymore. Took about 1 hour in total ! Pretty quick for a pelvic exam & prenatal visit

The womenβs health center staff are amazing. They are quick and thorough. Iβve never had an issue or problem that wasnβt solved by their office during my pregnancy. I would honestly recommend to anyone. After my sons birth and death they were still very supportive and very loving. Dr Azumah is also very great and very caring and supportive throughout all pregnancies sheβs really an amazing person.
